Transit Predictions
The cosmic weather report. Understand how current planetary movements affect your life.
How Transits Work
Your birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at your birth - it doesn't change. Transits are the current planetary positions as they continue moving through the zodiac.
When a transiting planet passes over a sensitive point in your birth chart (planet, house cusp, or aspect point), it activates that energy. The effects depend on the nature of the transiting planet and what it's touching in your chart.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are transits in astrology?
Transits (Gochara) are the current positions of planets as they move through the zodiac. These moving planets interact with your fixed birth chart, triggering different life events and themes based on which houses and planets they affect.
Which transits are most important?
Slow-moving planets have the strongest impact: Saturn (2.5 years per sign), Jupiter (1 year), and Rahu/Ketu (1.5 years). The Moon's transit (2.25 days) affects daily mood, while Sun's transit (1 month) influences monthly themes.
What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati is the 7.5-year period when Saturn transits through the 12th, 1st, and 2nd houses from your Moon sign. It's often associated with challenges that lead to maturity and lasting achievements.
How are transits different from Dasha?
Dasha shows the inherent timeline based on your birth chart - what planetary energies are activated. Transits show the current cosmic weather. Both work together: Dasha determines the theme, transit determines the timing.
Can transits predict good or bad periods?
Transits indicate the nature of influences, not absolute outcomes. Jupiter transits generally bring expansion and opportunity, while Saturn transits bring discipline and restructuring. Your response determines the outcome.
